Abstract
Urban parking is a growing concern in cities worldwide, where limited space, high traffic volumes, and inefficient parking management systems exacerbate congestion and environmental issues. The advent of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, combined with advanced data analysis, has enabled the development of smart parking solutions that aim to optimize parking space utilization, reduce congestion, and improve the overall urban mobility experience. This paper explores the implementation of IoT-enabled smart parking systems, their technological components, benefits, challenges, and future potential. The paper also discusses how data analysis is integral in making real-time decisions and enhancing the efficiency of parking operations in urban environments.
