Abstract

Water turbidity is a measure of relative clarity of water and its cloudiness due to suspended particles. This paper introduces a simple, cost-effective modification in existing turbidity sensors by using additional phototransistors to measure scattered light. The enhanced turbidity measurement improves clarity in household appliances like dishwashers and washing machines.
