Abstract
This study analyses the professional development of engineers from the newly established Operational Excellence department at Vórtice Mineradora, employing leadership, management, and positive psychology to foster the Flow State. The case presents the structuring of competencies and the Individual Development Plan, demonstrating both technical and behavioural evolution within the team.

Conclusion
As analyzed, the study achieved progress using a change process in organizational dynamics. The leaderās role in management and motivation was essential. Leaders help communicate the companyās vision and mission to employees. This provides direction and helps everyone identify the roles that best fit their skills and experience. Through clear communication, leaders encourage subordinates to act toward achieving goals.
The attempt to promote a āflow stateā sought to generate greater pleasure and satisfaction. People in a flow state enjoy what they are doing more. As the task becomes more pleasant, individuals are more likely to perceive it as rewarding and fulfilling. Flow also enables greater engagement: people in flow feel fully immersed in the task at hand. Flow has been linked to improved performance, increasing concentration and motivation. However, when one is constantly interrupted, it becomes difficult to achieve a flow state.
Even with all the changes in 2021 (pandemic scenario), and a first semester marked by restrictions and difficulties, there was significant progress in the development of day-to-day activities. It was a year of substantial learning, work, and team development. It was also a year of purpose alignment and reinforcement of VPS implementation in operations. Despite improved performance, the work is not finished, and new goals have been established. To this end, it was suggested to follow up on a VPS management assessment; conduct a VPS technical assessment for the operations element; conduct a VPS technical maintenance assessment in another phase (Ports and/or Railroads); and perform a VPS technical assessment in non-operational.
