Abstract

Renewable energy sources such as solar PV and wind have gained global significance as effective alternatives to conventional energy systems. However, their integration into the electrical grid presents power quality challenges due to voltage fluctuations and instability. This study examines the simulation-based enhancement of power quality in grid-connected solar PV-wind hybrid systems using MATLAB simulations. The research utilizes PI-PWM control and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to mitigate fluctuations, ensuring voltage regulation and system stability.
