Abstract

Buildings in India have historically suffered damage due to seismic activity, leading to the need for strengthening measures. This case study evaluates the impact of Fluid Viscous Dampers on storey drift, stiffness, modal periods, and seismic resilience for a newly built 15-storey RCC structure.
