Abstract
The intention of this project is to design a smartphone application that efficiently handles surplus food and facilitates donation, addressing food waste and scarcity. By connecting food donors with charitable groups, the app simplifies the donation process by providing an intuitive interface for visualizing available food supplies. Built on human-computer interaction (HCI) principles, the Android-based app allows donors to list food items, while agents can retrieve and distribute them accordingly. This effort significantly contributes to food redistribution, aiding those in need.
