Abstract

This study investigates the chemical composition and antimicrobial activity of Raphanus sativus seed oil. Using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), the oil was found to contain 15 major compounds, predominantly (Z)-13-docosenoic acid, methyl ester (35.48%), 9-octadecenoic acid (Z)-, methyl ester (17.12%), and cis-11-eicosenoic acid, methyl ester (11.64%). The oil showed partial activity against various human pathogens, suggesting potential but limited antimicrobial applications.
