Abstract
This study presents laboratory model test results characterizing the performance of footing resting on prestressed reinforced soil subjected to dynamic push loads. Various subsurface saturation levels are analyzed to quantify wave propagation potential across soil reinforcement. A composite model is developed to simulate Soil-Structure Interaction (SSI) under dynamic loads, assessing geogrid reinforcement effectiveness in improving soil strength and stiffness. The research investigates different embedment depths of geosynthetic layers and the effects of prestressing, determining the footingās settlement profile and response under static loads and lateral excitations.
