-Purwantoro, Arip Solehudin, Nono Heryana
Abstract
Air pollution is a serious issue in the world. Around 98% of cities with a population of over 100,000 people in low and middle-income countries do not meet air quality standards, while in high-income countries, the number has decreased by 52%. Industries and motor vehicles are the biggest contributors to carbon monoxide (CO).Air pollution is a severe issue in the world. The object of research to investigate is the detection of carbon monoxide (CO) levels in an area mapped based on the current CO levels along with the location coordinates via GPS and LBS technology with a microcontroller and sensor-based device. The results of testing the CO level detection devices found that high CO levels are in the afternoon with an average CO level of 49.59656 which means classified as dangerous if we are outdoors more than 30 minutes, can interfere with heart function. -Patil Siddhant Vitthal, Dr. Pravin Mane
Abstract
Multipliers are the indispensable part of an electronic system. Due to multipliers being at the heart of an electronic system, it is necessary to optimize them in terms of path delay, power dissipation and area consumption. The optimization of these parameters helps in improving the overall performance of the electronic system. The paper targets on the improvement in the performance of the existing multiplier, squarer and cuber designs by using the different principles mentioned in Vedic Mathematics. Simulation and synthesis is performed for designs using 2-bit, 4-bit, 8-bit and 16-bit operands using Cadence - Simulation Analysis Environment SimVision (64)14.10-s007, Cadence - NCLaunch (64)14.10-s007 and Cadence Encounter (R) RTL Compiler RC14.10. The most captivating observation from the results is that performing a cube of a 2-bit number using principles of Vedic Mathematics requires 96.52×less time, 99.141×less power and 98.92×less area as compared to performing cube of a 2-bit number using multiple stages of an array multiplier. Bioconversion of Coir Waste to Glucose for Bioethanol
-Francis John V ,Soloman P. A
Abstract
Although coir waste is resistant to natural degradation, it can be degraded with the help of important enzyme like cellulase produced by organisms like Aspergillus niger and Pleurotus sajor caju. The process produces glucose, which can be converted to ethanol through sequential saccharification and fermentation with the help of mixed fungal cultures. The present work aims at conversion of the used coir into glucose which can be used for producing bioethanol. The batch experiments are statistically designed and performed using Box-Benhken method of Response Surface Methodology to investigate the influence of major parameters viz. pH, temperature and substrate concentration on glucose production. The maximum glucose production of 1.44mg/ml was achieved under the conditions of substrate concentration 11.46 g/l , pH 5.79 and temperature 32.6 oC Keyword:Coir waste, Mixed culture, Optimization, Saccharification. × Francis John V ,Soloman P. Dynamics Testing of an Industry Oriented Real Time DTC Induction Motor Drive Using Mat lab Simulink
-Brahmananda Das
Abstract
Direct Torque Control is a robust control technique which is insensitive to control parameters variations. This is a field oriented control technique in which the detail analysis of motor parameter are required as it is very difficult to measure the rotor time constant which is varies with temperature. Though it is a basic control technique, but it is essential for understanding this technique to develop the advance control algorithm using fuzzy logic control, neural network algorithm etc. A 149.2kw. 2pole cage induction motor of460 volts, 60 Hz, 1800 rpm and inertia constant 10 Kg.m^2 was tested using matlab simulink .The torque developed was 790 N.m according to parameter. To make a real time model I had chosen ac source resistance 0.0056Ω and inductance 0.15mH and model was developed by matlabR2016 simulink environment. A fan load was taken and the motor fed by a variable AC voltage and frequency produced by an inverter. The inverter used was the voltage source inverter (VSI) in the sense that this inverter was fed by a constant DC voltage. This constant voltage was provided by an uncontrolled diode rectifier and a capacitor (capacitive DC bus voltage). After simulation I had found that From 0.02 second to 0.25 second, the fan speed increased because of the 600 N.m accelerated torque produced by the induction motor. When time was 0.25 second, the electromagnetic torque jumped down to 0 Newton-meter and the speed reduced because of the load torque opposed by the fan. When time was 0.5 second the motor torque developed a -600 Newton-meter torque and allowed braking of the fan. During braking mode, power was sent back to the DC bus and the bus voltage increasesed. As planned, the braking chopper limited the DC bus voltage to 700 V. At time is equal to 0.75 second, the electromagnetic torque jumped back to 0 N.m and the speed settleed around -10 rpm and reduced toward 0 rpm. It was found that the flux was attained around 0.8 Wb throughout the simulation. The flux and torque oscillation amplitudes are slightly higher than 0.02 and 10 N.m respectively . This was due to the combined effects of the 15 µs DTC controller sampling time, the hysteresis control, and the switching frequency limitation. I have used hysteresis modulation and PID controller. Here torque and flux from stator voltage and current. EMPIRICAL STUDY OF BLOCK CHAIN TECHNOLOGY BASED ON SPECIAL REFERENCE WITH CERTIFICATE VERIFICATION
-C.RUKUMATHI ,Dr.E. MANOHAR
Abstract
The graduation certificates issued by universities and other educational institutions are among the most important documents for graduates. A certificate is a proof of a graduate’s qualification and can be used to apply for a job or other related matters. The advance of information technology and the availability of low-cost and high-quality office equipment in the market have enabled forgery of important documents such as certificates, identity cards, and passports. However, verification of certificates using traditional methods is costly and very time-consuming. Therefore, the goal of this work is to propose a model that can offer a potential solution for academic certificate issuing and verification using blockchain technology. The blockchain technology contains several functions including hash, public/private key cryptography, digital signatures, peer-to-peer networks and proof of work. The model uses various elements to formulate the block which is divided into two main processes, namely issuing a digitally signed academic certificate and verifying the academic certificate. The proposed model showed that academic certificate authentication could leverage the blockchain technology. It meets all the conditions necessary for a modern academic certificate verification system. In addition, it closes the gaps and challenges in the existing methods to verify academic certificate authenticity Keyword:Blockchain ,Cryptography,Anti-forge × C.RUKUMATHI,Dr.E. DETECTION OF GLUCOMA USING DECISION TREE
-G.Loganayaki, Dr.T.Samraj Lawrence
Abstract
Glaucoma is a neurodegenerative disorder of the optic nerve, which causes partial loss of vision. Large number of people suffers from eye diseases in rural and semi urban areas all over the world. Current diagnosis of retinal disease relies upon examining retinal fundus image using image processing. The key image processing techniques to detect eye diseases include image registration, image fusion, image segmentation, feature extraction, image enhancement, morphology, pattern matching, image classification, analysis and statistical measurements. This paper proposes image processing technique for the early detection of glaucoma. Glaucoma is one of the major causes which cause blindness but it was hard to diagnose it in early stages. In this paper glaucoma is classified by extracting two features using retinal fundus images. (i) Cup to Disc Ratio (CDR). (ii) Ratio of Neuro Retinal Rim in inferior, superior, temporal and nasal quadrants i.e. (ISNT quadrants) to check whether it obeys or violates the ISNT rule. The novel technique is implemented on 50 retinal images and an accuracy of 94% is achieved taking an average computational time of 1.42 seconds Keyword:Retinal Fundus; Optic Disc; Optic Cup; CDR; NRR. × G.Loganayaki, Dr.T.Samraj Lawrence DETECTION OF GLUCOMA USING DECISION TREE " Volume 5 - Issue 6 (1-9) Novmeber-December 2019, International Journal of Engineering and Techniques (IJET) ,ISSN:2395-1303 , www.ijetjournal.org × |

Queue Management For Congestion Control In VANET
-Neha Yawale, Prof. C.M Raut 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V5I6P10
Abstract
Urban areas around the world are populating the streets with Vehicular Ad Hoc Network (VANET) in order to feed incipient smart city IT systems with metropolitan data.VANET i.e Vehicular ad-hoc network is the way for the vehicles to communicate with each other, and to share the information between them. In next few years the VANET will have massive impact in the smart cities, and the municipal operations will be mostly depends on the data gathered by the VANET. From the information security point of view, the VANET may face failures and can be the target of different types of attacks. The main requirement in the VANET is to forward the packet to the nest node. The main issue in the VANET which observed is when the large number of packets come to the node suddenly the node need to forward it towards the destination. The forwarding node may have its own packets to deliver. There may be buffer overflow when the node have the outgoing packets and the transitory packets to send, because of this the buffer overflow situation may occur and packets may get dropped which will degrade the network performance.Congestion control schemes are essential in such situations to increase network performance and ensure a fair use of the resources. This work proposes the congestion control technique which can deploy at the transition, network and MAC layer. It provides priority based traffic scheduling with a dual queue scheduler which favours transit queue packets. When congestion is detected based on the buffer occupancy, source sending rate is updated by the sink periodically with the help of dual queues and route the packets through less congested paths.
