Secure Sensitiven Data Sharing Big-Data In Cloud Platform Using Advanced Security System- M Aarthi, Pradeep T 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V5I3P11
Abstract
Cloud data canter management is a key problem due to the numerous and heterogeneous strategies that can be applied, ranging from the VM placement to the federation with other clouds. Performance evaluation of Cloud Computing infrastructures is required to predict and quantify the cost-benefit of a strategy portfolio and the corresponding Quality of Service (QoS) experienced by users. Such analyses are not feasible by simulation or on-the-field experimentation, due to the great number of parameters that have to be investigated. In this, we present an analytical model, based on Stochastic Reward Nets (SRNs), that is both scalable to model systems composed of thousands of resources and flexible to represent different policies and cloud-specific strategies. Several performance metrics are defined and evaluated to analyze the behavior of a Cloud data center: utilization, availability, waiting time, and responsiveness. A resiliency analysis is also provided to take into account load bursts. Finally, approach is presented that, starting from the concept of system capacity, can help system managers to opportunely set the data center parameters under different working conditions. Review On The Drafting Process And Comparison Of Millennium Development Goals (MDGS) And Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS)- Edward Hingha Foday Junior, Kejan Kokofele 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V5I3P12
Abstract
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) differ from the MDGs in purpose, concept, and politics. This article focuses process and comparison of the predecessor to the SDGs. The identification of Millennium Development Goals and the follow-on Sustainable Development Goals are referred here as examples of such policy-forming activities. The Millennium Declaration was adopted on 8th September 2000. According to David Hulme, the drafting process attempted to please both the rich countries insisting on their Development Assistance Committee (DAC) prepared list of International Development Goals and everybody else. It argues that the SDGs address several of the key shortcomings of the MDGs and incorporate a broader and more transformative agenda that more adequately reflects the complex challenges of the 21st century, and the need for structural reforms in the global economy. The SDGs also reverse the MDG approach to global goal setting and the misplaced belief in the virtues of simplicity, concreteness, and quantification. While the SDGs promise the potential for a more transformative agenda, implementation will depend on continued advocacy on each of the targets to hold authorities to account. The future of global public participation may move beyond invitation (and its deficiencies), to one based on collecting passive information of the global public. It still remains to be seen whether SDGs really demonstrates the long-term public concerns especially with the set of global priorities until 2030. Optimization of Shadow Detector and Color Model Index Using Automatic Threshold and Boundary Refinement- Rakesh Kumar Das, Madhu Shandilya 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V5I3P13
Abstract
The objects extraction from their background could be a difficult assignment. Since one threshold or structure threshold certainly fails to resolve doubt , in this paper, we have proposed a brand new technique that automatically observe the edge to exactly discriminate pixels as foreground or background using automatic threshold mechanism. By ?rst distinguishing boundary, its associated curvatures, and edge response, used as benchmark to gauge the possible location of the boundary. Results show that the projected technique systematically performs well in various illumination conditions, as well as indoor, outdoor, moderate, sunny, and rainy cases. By an examination with an empirical evidence in every case, the error rate, the shadow detector index and the color model index indicates a correct detection, that shows substantial improvement as compared with alternative existing ways.. Risk Assessment and Hazard Evaluation for Paper Industries- Deepa Arun.N, E.Palanisamy 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V5I3P14
Abstract
The paper industry has an important social role to play for the country. Use of paper is considered as an index of cultural growth. The paper industry is also contributing towards fulfillment of various requirements of the industry as a whole like information dissemination, publicity, etc. Pulp and paper manufacturing can be very hazardous due to massive weight and falling, rolling, and sliding pulpwood loads. Workers may be struck or crushed by loads or suffer lacerations from the misuse of equipment, particularly when machines are used improperly or without proper safeguards. Hazardous chemicals used in pulp and paper mills require careful handling and continuous monitoring to minimize threat to workers, processes, and nearby communities. The production and use of paper has a number of adverse effects on the environment like deforestation, air pollution(NO2,SO2,CO2 emissions), waste water discharge (contains solids, lignin, alcohols, transition metal compounds, nitrogen and phosphorus, etc.), landfills. This project helps to identify various safety and health hazards in the pulp making process and recommend the new suited methods to improve the workplace safety and health in paper industry. Study of Effect of Cryogenic Treatments on Powder Metallurgy Tool Steels- D.M. Dalwe, R.G.Tated 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V5I3P15
Abstract
There are various methods used to enhance the properties of materials and commonly adopted are conventional heat treatment, coatings of harder materials on the surface of base materials, in addition to conventional heat treatment cryogenic treatment is also used. A lot of research work has been carried out on conventionally produced steels and effect of cryogenic treatments on it. But powder metallurgically (PM) produced steel materials are not focused that much. The study on the effect of cryogenic treatments on PM steels needs to be evaluated more. In the cryogenic treatment materials are subjected to temperature below 0?C and range up to -196?C or in some cases -269?C. The sub-zero treatment and various cryogenic treatments like shallow cryogenic treatment (SCT), deep cryogenic treatment (DCT) are used by researchers to know the effects on tool steels and other steel materials also. It is seen that cryogenic treatment improves the mechanical and tribological properties of most of steels as a result of reduced retained austenite which is converted into martniste content which improves the performance of materials. Abstract
Today human machine interaction is moving away from keypad and is becoming pervasive and much more compatible with the physical world. Robots are playing an important role in automation across the entire sectors like construction, military, medical, manufacturing, etc. Gestures are playing vital role in the automation. The main purpose of using gesture is that it provides a more natural way of controlling and provides a rich and intuitive form of interaction with the robotic system. The pick and place means to pick the certain object from one location and place it to another desired location. This work can be done by machine called pick and place robot. The robotic arm kit is made of two sections. The bottom driving unit takes the robot to left, right, backward, forward and other six direction motions. These all six direction motions are controlled by the accelerometer. The top gripper unit is to pick and place any object. The gripper unit is controlled by the flex sensor. The driving unit has four dc motors and two motor drivers. The two sections in this project are transmitter and receiver will be communicated through ZigBee/XBee wireless protocol. The robot is strong enough to handle the task like rescue, transporting etc. The pick and place robots are designed, implemented in various fields such as in bottle filling industry, packing industry, used in surveillance to detect and destroy the bombs etc. The pick and place robot is controlled by Arduino UNO and ZigBee/XBee module. Digital Audio Watermarking Technique through Fused DWT & LSB Technique- Shelke Ramesh, Milind Nemade, Dilendra kumar 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V5I3P17
Abstract
Audio watermarking is more inspiring due to the fact that self-motivated control of hearing ability over the chromatic field.Noise is regularly carried to host audio by common signal processing procedure, and it regularly changes the high-frequency component of an audio signal. So inserting watermark by correcting low-frequency coefficient can rise the robustness of a watermark technique. This work proposed a method which embedding watermark into the maximal coefficient in 3rd Level DWT domain. Biased and unbiased tests reveal that the proposed watermarking technique preserves highly audio quality, and concurrently, the algorithm is highly robust to mutual digital signal processing processes. Experimental replications were achieved to calculate the performance of the audio watermarking technique. Audio watermarking discovers applications in the area of copyright, temper discovery and authentication of musics, military communication, voice activated machines and robots. Automatic Fall Detection and Monitoring Wearable Device for Elder People- S. Annapurna Devi, V.Preethi 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V5I3P18
Abstract
Loss of consciousness and fall-induced injury is one of the leading problems faced by the elderly. They are the leading cause for the transfer of senior citizens from the comfort of their residence to assisted care environments. They also account for number of injury related deaths. On the personal side, such events stifle the independence of the individuals, requiring a caretaker to maintain constant surveillance. It is better to design a system to sense and alert doctors and nearest of kin of falls and other related incidents of distress. The device must not be cumbersome, but rather wearable, so as to remove any social stigma related to the possession of such a device. It should have a high degree of reliability and differentiate activities of daily life from genuine falls. This would require a signal plotting and threshold based approach to arrive upon a fall- detection problem. Keyword: Fall detection, elderly, GPS, GSM, Accelerometer.× S. Abstract
The heart of the economy in any country is the central business district and trading center areas of cities. One of the many unresolved problems in most country nowadays is the heavy traffic. Philippine is one of the country who is experiencing this and dubbed as the country with the worst traffic congestion. This problem clearly affecting the economy of the country and drastically changes the culture of the Filipinos living in the cities to counter this crisis. However, most of this countermeasure is unhealthy and unsafe such as shortening sleep time and riding motorcycles. There are many improvements in the traffic system technologies, however it seems like these innovations are not solving the problemeven the slightest. This is because the timing strategies is traditional. There sensorized traffic light but still prone to malfunctions due to environment conditions and human disturbances. This study aims to improve traffic light by replacing sensors with computer vision in the allotment of time for lanes to discharge their accumulated vehicles.
