Abstract
Short Message Service (SMS) is the delivery of messages or information that is already being replaced by chat applications such as blackberry messenger, whatsapp, line, and kakao talk. SMS has experienced growth in terms of the use and function as Polling SMS, SMS Banking, SMS Group and SMS Gateway. SMS Gateway is one of the use of the type of SMS is currently experiencing a lot of growth, namely the presence of several open source SMS Gateway provides easy use of them is Gammu SMS Engine is an open source under the GPL license is an application devoted to build a SMS Gateway . Gammu can be used in a variety of programming languages such as PHP programming language one of them. By using Gammu SMS Gateway and apply it to the PHP programming language is expected to overcome the existing problems is by sending an SMS to the students and parents about financial matters that late payment or arrears. Vocational education institutions such as Al-Amanah not have a notification system to notify delay or delinquent tuition. Timely payments would be the expectation of the school, because the school fees are used for the construction of school infrastructure. Analysis system used in building Gammu SMS Gateway by doing using SWOT analysis method, namely strength (strengths), weakness (Weakness), opportunity (oppurtunities), and which pose a threat (threats). And the final conclusion of the completion of the notification system in doing a test using blackbox system. Implementation Analysis of Information Technology Infrastructure Using Cobit 4.1 and ITIL V.3 Framework in PT. Sunrise Bumi Textiles- Prima Intrusiano Kurniawan, Agustian Syahputra, Hafizh Ramadhan
Abstract
PT. Sunrise Bumi Textiles has utilized Information Technology (IT) to support the company's business, but the IT applied in reality has not provided maximum results. Data loss process,network downtime, and other IT problems, resulting in significant losses to Performance Company. Harmony between business goals and IT Goals is still a big issue. This study uses the COBIT 4.1 Framework in the DS (Delivery and Support) and Framework domains ITIL v3 in the Service Operation domain. The reason for using COBIT 4.1 rather than COBIT 5 is research aims to determine the extent to which the capabilities of IT services are running, while at COBIT 5 each level requires the fulfillment of the previous level first. The ITIL Framework is used for provide recommendations for IT services after measurement using COBIT 4.1. Research result this shows that the level of IT process maturity at PT. Sunrise Bumi Textiles shows level 3 (defined), that is the condition in which an organization has standardized documented. This research too produce a tool to calculate the COBIT and ITIL process maturity models in the form of web applications. Abstract
Mobile communication in today’s era requires high data rates with flawless connectivity and lower bit error rate. Traditional WIMAX system in use are unable to provide flawless data rates in conjunction with fewer bit error rates. Therefore keeping in view the era of 5G communication in research this thesis has proposed a novel radon transform based Wimax system. The system built compares the performance of DFT based WIMAX system , DWT based WIMAX and proposed radon transform based WIMAX system. From the simulation results the FRAT-WIMAX-IDMA system performs better as compared to DFT-WIMAX-IDMA and DWT-WIMAX-IDMA system in term of BER performance for next generation wireless communication system. The parameter taken for research in this project are no. of data points in the test signal, speed of transmission of test signal and finally the no of zero padding done in the WIMAX domain. The entire simulation model has been done in Matlab 2014 environment and the results have shown that at some selected parameters radon transform based WIMAX system outperforms DWT as well as DFT based WIMAX system. In this work, we have considered the normal 8 bit image, in which there are lithospheric features such as land, mountains, plateaus, grassland etc; and hydrosphere features such as ponds, lakes, sea or coastal region, etc. We have used the integrated techniques of Edge linking, Histograms modelling and convolution methods, to delineate the lithosphere and hydrosphere boundary in any image below 8 bit. We have also used the method of particle swarm optimization (PSO) techniques to cluster the two boundaries for optimum solution. IoT has taken over the industry by storm. It’s evolution in the field of developing forthcoming network chains is quite significant. But along with it, there are numerous problems associated with it. Some of them are like controlling the consistently expanding traffic, rise of considerable chunk of networking nodes in order to control serviceability etc., There are many cases where IoT takes a very important role like monitoring the traffic on roads, manipulating the machine hands(robots) in case of remote surgery, monitoring the manufacturing units in industry etc., These systems need extreme care and maintaining minimal delay of services from beginning-to-end is of atmost importance. These units generate crucial amounts of traffic and thus are to be given exceptional care, notably in matters where their latency can be troubled e.g., glitches in the functioning of nodes of network, bottleneck arising due to network congestion etc., In this work we have a tendency to analyse various technical prospect measures that manage the traffic delay for vital knowledge. Also, we described about the various SDN-IoT techniques and technologies that are in present use along with their limitations. In our proposed model, we try to solve a few challenges that are in existence in field of IoT traffic management. We made use of Ryu Controller(SDN) that can help in solving problems like identifying the network path with low end-to-end latency, delay and properly route the vital traffic data onto this routing path. Mininet emulations showing physical variations in delay in link formation routes can confirm the validity of our approach. They can also indicate the conditions under which the solution can be implemented.
