The rapid growth of the urban population and the consequent pressure on limited space has considerably influenced multi-storied building construction. . Two main groups according to the arrangement of slabs, beams or girders, and columns are Framed Structure and flat slab structure. This multi-storied building structure will be analyzed not only considering the vertical loads (dead load & live load), it also includes lateral load (earthquake load). Earth quake loads will be considered for all different zones in India .Structural modeling & analysis will be done using ETABS software. Reference 1.
