MATLAB control and optimization toolboxes are used to tune the four controllers using functional constraints to adjust the performance of the closed loop control system. The performance of the control system of the gas turbine using the four 2DOF controllers is compared of that using a conventional PID controller where graphical and quantitative comparison is presented.
