The use of technologies such as the Internet of Things (IOT) can make data collection and analysis easier. The main goal of this paper is to describe a system that can monitor or track the location and vehicle parameters of various test vehicles from a centralised location for research and development purposes, as well as to store data of those vehicles' testing parameters on the server for further analysis and records. The system design will be generalised to monitor various parameters such as location, vehicle speed, engine compartment temperature, fuel consumption, and so on. For data transfer, the proposed system employs an open source controller and a GPS/GSM/GPRS module. Reference 1. H. D. Pham, M. Drieberg and C. C.
