A finite element model was utilized to analyse a number of parameters that are significant in the design process. Ansys software was used to do a Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of the elastomer mount. Based on the nonlinear static and linear dynamic deflection of the elastomer, finite element analysis was used to verify the Modal and Harmonic analysis performed on the elastomer of the engine mount for frequency and displacement of the elastomer mount spring force, displacement, vibration isolation, and excitation frequency.
