- Rina Bopche, Prof. Amit Kolhe, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Mishra 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I3P21
Abstract
Matlab has played very important role in biomedical and it has many technique we are working on image segmentation and by using matlab we can solve so many problem for example the accurate data of tumor to cure it. As we knows the tumor is abnormal growth of tissue and MRI can’t tell the exact location of tumor up to now doctors were treating it by approximation and analysis so, to give complete information about brain tumor we are using image segmentation in matlab. This project includes noise removal technique (median filter), gray scale, thresholding, histogram equalization, K-means clustering and morphological operation (performing iterations). People affected by different category of tumor in India are 43%, 36% in US, and 31% in UK. By using this matlab based technique we can get accurate data for its size, location and stage of the tumor. Detection and extraction of tumour from MRI scan images of the brain is done by using MATLAB software (programming). Reduction in Chloride Penetration by Use Of Steel Mill Scrap in Concrete
- V. John Sundar Raj, K. Vasu, M. Dinesh 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I3P22
Abstract
Corrosion is one of the major drawbacks of the use of Steel as reinforcement in Concrete (RCC). The rate of Corrosion can be found by performing Rapid Chloride Penetration Test (RCPT) according to ASTM – C 1202. This test is conducted on a sample of Concrete of Cylindrical shape, of 50 mm height and 100 mm diameter, which is cured for 28 and 56 days. The chloride penetration value helps in determining the rate of corrosion of Concrete. In this project, we aim to reduce the chloride penetration value by addition of Steel mill scrap in Concrete. Four samples were prepared, namely, Control mix, 10 kg/cu.m addition, 20 kg/cu.m addition and 30 kg/cu.m addition of the Steel mill scrap. The Control mix was prepared to act as a benchmark for the Chloride Penetration value. The test was conducted, and the results showed a reduction in Chloride penetration value as the quantity of the Steel mill scrap was increased. Energy Efficient Clustering In Wireless Sensor Network Using Anfis
- Abhiruchi Rajpoot, Anurag Daksh 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I3P23
Abstract
Wireless Sensor Networks [WSN] is defined as a group of distributed sensors which performs task like monitoring and sensing the physical environmental conditions and also aggregate the collected data at a central location called Base Station [BS]. WSNs consist of sensors [or nodes] –from a few to several hundreds or even thousands, where each node is connected to one (or sometimes several) sensors. Each sensor is able to sense and send the sensed data to base station. The ability of sensing and transmitting data to BS requires high energy. Hence, the main challenge of WSN is to achieve communications with low energy consumptions. Therefore, it requires a primary goal of energy efficient clustering protocol and cluster head selection using Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System [ANFIS]. This model will help in knowing the current scenario of every wireless sensor network. - Anand A. Trikolikar, Mahesh A. Mainderkar 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I3P24
Abstract
Microstrip patch antennas are widely used in different communication applications like GPS, Wi-Max & WLAN. They are having advantage like low weight & size, low cost, simple feeding techniques, possibility of linear & circular polarization, duel frequency & dual polarization etc. In this paper a Rectangular shaped Microstrip patch antenna is designed, which is operating in L (Long Wave) (1-2 GHz) band. Later on the rectangular Microstrip patch antenna is modified in S & E shaped antenna. A comparison of rectangular, Z & E shaped patch antenna is also part of this paper. - Ankit Kumar Yadav, Naman Rakesh, Saksham Yadav, Prof. R.S. Ambekar 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I3P25
Abstract
People of today’s world are more concerned about the environmental changes occurring due to pollution and depletion of natural occurring fossil fuels. The solar energy plays a major role in reducing the above stated concerns. The society seekers are educating themselves day by day. Due to the reason they are focusing on renewable energy resources. But the currentt solar photoelectric conversion efficiency is gradually low. The technology used in tracker can improve the rate of conversion of solar energy, so the dualaxial memory stored controller is shown in this research paper and detailed analysis of the same has been illustrated, solar tracking system based on the quadrant location phenomena is designed in order to enhance the efficiency. The above stated system is of high precision, simple structure, easy operation, etc. This paper also tries to increase power generation by placing the equipment such that, it gets maximum sunlight automatically throughout the day. This system tracks maximum intensity of light all the day along. When there is decrease in intensity of sunlight, this system automatically changes its position to get maximum intensity of light. Calibrated Catalytic Converter
- Swapnil Shinde 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I3P26
Abstract
Due to increase in number of vehicles pollution has raised to its peak point. Exhaust emissions of much concern are Hydrocarbon (HC), Carbon Monoxide (CO) and Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) from the automotive vehicles. In order to reduce the emissions many different technologies are being used. One of them is the catalytic converter. Catalytic converter plays an important role in reducing the emissions from the exhaust gas which is being released by the engine of an automobile. Catalytic converter is made out of many precious metals like platinum, rhodium, palladium, etc. It is made out of ceramic material and it is brittle in nature. This research paper deals with how emission can be controlled by using different parameters on the catalytic convertor. It deals with how the gap between the case and the substrate can be controlled effectively to reduce the effect of the back pressure which is been acting on the substrate. Mechanical Properties of Field Demolished Aggregate Concrete
- Vidya.B, Sravani.N, Manisha.K, Lakshmana Rao.G, Chandra Sekhar.O 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I3P30
Abstract
This paper studied about the mechanical properties of field demolished aggregate concrete. The demolished concrete from previous construction, after surface treatment is used as aggregate known as recycled aggregate. The present work is studied by replacing the recycled aggregate with natural coarse aggregate from 0% to 50% at every increment of 10% in M 30 grade of concrete. The recycled material obtained is used in the construction of pavements, gutters, curbs, retaining wall backfill, landscaping rock and erosion control. From the study, it is observed that the compressive strength and split tensile strength of natural aggregate with respect to recycled aggregate have a less variation from 0% to 50% replacement. Thus the recycled aggregate can be used effectively as a coarse material in new concrete.
