Abstract
A developing obstacle for higher assessment of existing concrete structures has published a necessity for extended figuring out of the structural results of degradation. The two most usual causes of deterioration in concrete constructions are freezing of the concrete and corrosion of the reinforcement. The intention of this study is to deepen the understanding of the structural results of decay with specified awareness to the bond between deformed bars and concrete. The effects of freezing on the material houses of concrete and the bond behaviour of bars had been investigated by way of experiments. A big impact of frost injury was found on the stress-stress response of concrete in compression, tensile stress-crack opening relation, and bond-slip behaviour. Situated on this, a suite of approaches was offered to foretell the mechanical behaviour of reinforced concrete structures with a measured quantity of frost harm. The methodology was applied to frost broken beams utilizing non-linear finite element evaluation on the structural degree. Service existence prediction is fitting one of the crucial primary duties in the design of concrete structures. The sturdiness designhas got to be founded on regular items that can describe the deterioration units extra competently. The progress of chloride penetration units is important for the comparison of the carrier lifetime of concrete buildings exposed to marine environment. Easy units are derived from Ficks 2nd law of diffusion are at reward the pleasant approach to foretell chloride penetration in useful situations. Nonetheless these items need to be calibrated with experimental outcome. PIFA Antenna for Wireless Communications - V. Preethi, S.Annapurna Devi 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I3P104
Abstract
PIFA is abrivation of planar inverted antenna is actually a patch antenna where a shorting pin is introduced. An implantable compact planar inverted antenna designed for wireless telemetry is being proposed for operating in Australian ISM band of 900 MHz and 915-928 MHz IN wireless telemetry pifa antenna was designed and which is explained in this paper..PIFA antenna can also designed for testing antenna inside living body. The PIFA antenna is basically developed from the monopole antenna, Inverted L is realised by folding down the monopole in order to decrease the height of the antenna at the same time maintaining identical resonating length. When feed is applied to the inverted L, the antenna appears as inverted F as shown in figure. Also the addition of a shorting pin between the ground plane and patch planes increases the effective size of the PIFA antenna, thus further reducing the physical dimensions .In this paper i am going to compare it with the two types of feeding techniques i.e. line feeding with coaxial feeding. Abstract
Green computing is the environmentally responsible use of computers and their resources. Its main aim is to reduce carbon footprint and make efficient use of energy while also reducing toxic waste. Green computing aims at making effective and full use of computers and their resources and meeting the needs of the users while also sustaining the ability to meet future needs. Systematic analysis of energy consumption based on the type of service is done to determine efficient green computing methods to improve the complete energy consumption. In todays world, it is a major challenge to simultaneously build computers and other services that meet the ever increasing needs of customers and balance their performance to maximize energy efficiency and minimize e-waste production by using non-toxic materials for equipment manufacturing. By implementing the practices of green computing, we can reduce the use of resources and disposal of e-waste. There has been a steady increase in the use of computers and other electronic gadgets which means that the amount of electricity consumed has also been steadily increasing. This results in an increase in CO2 in the atmosphere. In this paper, we will look into the details of green computing such as its theories and designs, along with its heat and energy consumption issues. This paper will help us to take a few activities that are at present time under the field on computers/electronics and better approaches to save huge quantities of energy which is wasted in a large manner. Abstract
To install System/Application software, patch, update, system-replacement in high network traffic controlled domain with prior operating system (OS) installation following the traditional way is a long time taking and continuous manual intervention procedure. Today Multi-National Companies are working over high complicated distributed systems whose software should compute in real-time. The demand for continuous service is also increasing for these applications and it is unacceptable to restart the system during software upgrade. This paper describes how to automate the entire process of software installation and maintenance irrespective of the hardware type (Bare metal/Virtual) using the command line interface (CLI) which facilitates the reconfiguration management of the orchestration tool System Orchestration Framework (SOF). The integration of hardware health check which is considered as a pre-installation phase, application installation over the Linux operating system which is considered into the installation phase and the validation of kernel values and all the application services which is considered as the post-installation phase using the continuous integration tool Jenkins thereby drastically reduce time and human effort.
