- Ms. Kalaiarasi.S, Chethan.T.S, Ashwin Chakravarthy.K 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P73
Abstract
The purpose of the project is to evaluate the impact on the environment by a Coal Washery in India and recommend ways to increase their eco-friendly factor. The project basically has four features – Goal and Scope, Life cycle inventory, Impact assessment & Interpretation. Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) analysis involves creating an inventory of flows from and to nature for a product system. Inventory flows include inputs of water, energy, and raw materials, and releases to air, land, and water. Inventory analysis is followed by impact assessment. This phase of LCA is aimed at evaluating the significance of potential environmental impacts based on the LCI flow results. Life Cycle Interpretation is a systematic technique to identify, quantify, check and evaluate information from the results of the life cycle inventory and/or the life cycle impact assessment. The results from the inventory analysis and impact assessment aresummarized during the interpretation phase. The outcome of the interpretation phase is a set of conclusions and recommendations for the study. A High Step up DC-DC Converter for AC Photovoltaic Module Application
- Dr.Sukhi .Y, Rajkumar .P, Ram Kumar .S, Saravanakumar .S 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P74
Abstract
This project proposes within the photovoltaic (PV) power-generation market, the ac PV module has shown obvious growth. However, a high voltage gain converter is essential for the module’s grid connection through a dc–dc inverter. This paper proposes a converter that employs a floating active switch to isolate energy from the PV panel when the ac module is OFF; this particular design protects installers and users from electrical hazards. Without extreme duty ratios and the numerous turns-ratios of a coupled inductor, this converter achieves a high step-up voltage-conversion ratio; the leakage inductor energy of the coupled inductor is efficiently recycled to the load. These features explain the module’s high-efficiency performance. The detailed operating principles and steady-state analyses of continuous, discontinuous, and boundary conduction modes are described. A 6 V input voltage, 60 V output voltage prototype circuit of the proposed converter has been implemented; its maximum efficiency is up to 95% and full-load efficiency is 92%. - Vodnala Veda Prakash, S. Chakradhara Goud 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P75
Abstract
The headway in vehicle innovation is expanding every day. The proficiency of the motor relies upon warm exchange rate of radiator in vehicle and further it transfers on stream limit of liquids and material utilized as a part of assembling of radiator. For the most part water is utilized as cooling liquid in car. The scientists were focused on various materials and found that copper and aluminum materials demonstrate a higher warmth exchange rate contrast with different materials. The stream limit and warmth retention of the liquid can be enhanced with the expansion of Nano added substances in radiator. In the present work the execution of the radiator is broke down with various Nano liquids utilizing CATIA and ANSYS. Thus the present work is arranged in like manner. Diverse Nano liquids Cu, Fe, Au, Ag for volume division 0.3, are blended with base liquid water are broke down for their execution in the radiator. Displaying of the radiator is done in CATIA. The liquid stream qualities are discovered utilizing CFD examination and with a similar warm investigation are done in ANSYS. - Jolly Dutta, Kanika Gupta, Abhishek Chaudhary, Avinash kumar Sharma 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P76
Abstract
Cloud computing is known to be a secured technology. It has various applications. Cloud computing is providing its security services and storage services at a very low cost. Privacy and authentication are required at a high degree. There are various approaches to deal with these security issues. Cloud is secure enough from all external theft. Cloud computing provides three kinds of services: IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service) and SaaS (Software as a Service). For data protection in cloud server, cryptography is one of the important methods. Cryptography provides various types of symmetric and asymmetric algorithms to secure the data. Here we use two mechanisms in this paper- data encryption and file splitting. When a user uploads a file it is encrypted using AES encryption algorithm. Then encrypted file is divided into equal parts according to the number of clouds and stored on the cloud. This proposed system enhances the data security on cloud. - A. L. Choodarathnakara, Dr. Jayanth J, Dr. Shivaprakash Koliwad, Dr. C. G. Patil, Srikrishnashastri C 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P77
Abstract
Semi-urban area forms its own ‘landscape’ with low density, apparently random, scattered or fragmented and leap fogging forms of urban land use. The area under investigation is the Arasikere Semi-urban Area, located at 44km North of Hassan District, Karnataka State, INDIA with an elevation of approximately 806 m (2,644 ft) Above Mean Sea Level and is known for its coconut production. The data are of LISS-IV (Linear Imaging and Self Scanning) sensor of IRS-P6 (Indian Remote Sensing Satellite) and Panchromatic image of IRS-P5 satellites launched and maintained by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). The images are characterized by many noises such as, clouds, haze, roofs and roads covered by rainwater, which cause confusion between urban class, water body and wetland. Hard classification was applied with ISODATA unsupervised classification technique and result is a proof of good choice of the study area characterized with mixed classes. Hard classification is a good tool for homogeneous area where no mixed pixels exist. ISODATA hard classifier failed to classify heterogeneous nature of Arasikere Semi-urban area. - Dr. S. Prabakaran, S M. Venkatesan 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P79
Abstract
Induction motors are widely used in industries and house hold applications due to high robustness, reliability, low cost and maintenance, high efficiency and long service life. At present, the concept of SMART system would be implemented in drive applications. Automation of group or individual drive needs monitoring and protection against hazards caused either by electrically or externally. Consequence of that, motor protection is an emerging area of research. This paper presents a combined protection approach for induction motor such as over current, short circuit and single phase fault. The control logic is derived from the equivalent circuit of the motor. MATLAB/SIMULINK software is used to simulate the system behaviour with different conditions and verified experimentally. Simulated and experimental results are discussed and presented. Keyword: Induction motor, protection, microcontroller, over current, numerical relay.× Dr. S. Prabakaran, S M.
