- PeddadaThirumala Rao, Hepsiba Seeli 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P41
Abstract
These Cryogenics is a study of science which deals with the behaviour of extreme low temperatures study. Cold converts is akind of a pressure vessel which is meant for storage of liquid oxygen and nitrogen or argon under certain required pressure conditions. The materials used for this equipment are discussed and analysed in this paper. The project report follows the same procedure for the designing of cold convertor as per the industry norms. The procedure conforms to ASME SECTION 8, DIVISION-1. In the present work, design analysis of single layered and multi layered cryogenic shell, with minimum mass under strength constraints for a cylinder subjected to axial loading for static analysis on the pressure vessel has been studied. The procedure for designing cold convertor to the required specifications has been studied and the analysis is carried out in Auto desk inventor, which is Finite Element Analysis software to create a perfect cryogenic vessel. In the present work, design analysis of multi layered cryogenic shell has been done for different materials. The design calculations and results for the analysis of different materials have been shown. Different materials are analysed. Taking weight into consideration and stress into account, glass epoxy for the outer structure with carbon fiber epoxy for the inner structure is comparably better than the other materials. Extensible Web Platform for University Academic Discussions
- L Pranau Kumar, Rahul Sivalingam, Vaibhav Khandelwal, Divyanshi Mangal 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P42
Abstract
The idea behind building forums for academic discussions is to promote collaboration and make everyday growth of students seamless and as painless as possible. The reasons why such forums are not popular in universities include content moderation, lack of specificity and discovery and lack of technical resources to deploy and customize the forums. We propose a readymade web-app platform model that provides an easy-to-use plugin and extension system to radically extend the functionality of forums to suit the needs of the administrators. It will be ready to deploy easily with specific features for academics related discussions so that users can use them to interact with each other. In the reference implementation, we demonstrate how they can be used to build forums for reviews exchange, share cabs and autorickshaws, and general-purpose discussions. The forums we built have been tested with VIT students to positive feedback from more than 80% of students. Realtime Traffic Decongestion System
- Kalaiarasi.S, P.Sahitya, Swathi.S, Aadith Narayan, Shivani.L 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P44
Abstract
Existing traffic control circuits deploy fixed time intervals between Red and Green signals. Such a disregard to traffic severity is often the root cause for slow moving traffic and prompts the need for manual labor. The vision of the project is to decongest a four-way junction road traffic in real-time. The severity in each lane is fetched through Google Maps API. The Raspberry Pi micro-controller makes an API call to Google Maps which returns the data set “DurationInTime”. This data is then referred to allot a signal time-frame dynamically by deploying a decongestion algorithm. Another inclusive feature of this project is to detect emergency vehicles using RFID technology to facilitate quicker decongestion of the lane with such vehicles. To show a simulation, data from Google Maps will be processed and the time frame will be sent to an Arduino Micro-controller to trigger the LED lights connected to it. A New Approach for Optimal Sizing of DG based on statistical STLF
- M Babita Jain, R V S Laksmi Kumari, J Dileep Kumar 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P47
Abstract
The paper proposes a new approach for the optimal sizing of the distributed generator based on a statistical short-term load forecasting technique. The curve fitting method is used to perform the short-term load forecasting. Shorttermloadforecastingin thispaperis donebyconsideringthesensibilityofthenetwork loadtothe temperature, humidity, daytypeparameters(THD)andprevious load andalso ensuringthatforecasting theload with these parameters canbestbedonebythecurve fittingmethod.Theanalysis oftheloaddatarecognizethatthe loadpattern isnotonlydependent ontemperaturebutalso is dependenton humidityandday type. Auniquenormwitha, b,c anddconstants basedonthehistorydatahasbeenproposed for the STLFusingtheconceptofcurvefittingtechnique. The optimal sizing of the DG is obtained based on the results of the STLF done. The technique is implemented on a real time dataset. The algorithms implementing this forecasting and optimal DG Sizing techniques have been programmed using MATLAB. The simulation results show the robustness and suitability of the proposed norm for the STLF as the forecasting accuracies are less than 3% for almost all the day types and all the seasons. The reduction in the overall system losses proves the suitability of the developed technique for the optimal sizing of the distributed generator. - Ch.Rahul, T.Apoorva, K.Vamshi krishna, B.Chinmayee, Syed Musthak Ahmed 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P48
Abstract
Water is a indispensable need for survival of human life on earth. Though 70-78% water exists on earth foremost part of it is not appropriate for drinking purpose. It is indispensable to clean the existing water and make its apposite usefulness for the purpose of domestic, industry and commercial purposes. Proper disposal of solid waste is an exigent job nowadays. Solid waste includes empty plastic bottles, polythene bags, and papers etc. which contaminate the water which leads to numerous diseases. Cleaning of such disposal sometimes may also affect human lives. In order to evade such situation cleaning system may be incorporated which removes these solid wastes and throw it into a waste bucket or into a safe place. The present work incorporates automatic systems that replace the human intervention in cleaning water with this contamination. The objective of this project is to implement an efficient working system which automatically cleans the water filled with these solid wastes and impurities. To reduce human intervention and labor in cleaning the wastes thereby reducing contamination, pollution and water borne diseases. Abstract
This paper describes the design and implementation of a single axis sun tracking and protection system. This utilizes LDR's and air-flow sensors to make PV cell facing in the direction of maximum irradiation to promote system efficiency and also aligning them parallel to the direction of harsh winds for panel protection. Meanwhile, the algorithm is implemented such that during normal weather, solar tracking occurs and when comes the harsh winds solar tracking is temporarily be replaced by solar protection system. - Divyashailley Jain, Kamlesh Chandravanshi 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P50
Abstract
The clustering technique plays an important role in data mining process. For the mining of internet traffic data faced a lot of problem of noise and internet traffic number of iteration. The process of pattern generation used two type of technique such as supervised learning and unsupervised learning. In unsupervised learning clustering process are used. The varieties of clustering technique are used such as k-means, FCM and constraints clustering technique. The constraints clustering technique gives the two solution approach one is seed selection and another is mapping of seed in terms of constraint of center. In this dissertation modified the seed selection process using genetic algorithm technique. The genetic algorithm process select variable value one is seed value and another is constraint of center value. In constraints cluster technique used some value of center and generates new center value of new cluster for the better generation of cluster. For more improvement of constraints clustering technique used two level constraints clustering technique for better improvement of cluster technique. In this dissertation modified the constraints clustering technique for improvement. In the process of improvement used genetic algorithm technique. Genetic algorithm technique gives the better selection of seed for internet traffic database.
