- Imran Basha Syed 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P151
Abstract
Brain Tumor is a fatal disease which cannot be confidently determined without MRI. Earlier detection, diagnosis and proper treatment of brain tumor are essential to prevent health. Abnormal cell growth leads to a tumor are essential to prevent human death. An effective brain tumor segmentation of MR image is an essential task in medical field. Extracting or grouping of pixels in an image based on intensity values is called segmentation. Image segmentation can be achieved in different ways like thresholding, region growing, water sheds and contours. The drawbacks of previous methods can be overcome through proposed method. To extract the information regarding tumor, at first in the pre-processing level, the image was filtered using Anisotropic Diffusion filter to remove noise and then the extra parts which are outside the skull and the area that does not have any helpful information are removed. After that a difference image is found to highlight the tumor. Then the image is resized and the image was converted to a threshold image. On this semi processed image morphological operations have been applied and information on solidity and areas of the plausible locations was determined. Then it was used to detect the tumor. This method can be implemented by MATLAB. Experimental results show high precision and dependability of the proposed algorithm. The results are also highly helpful for specialists and radiologists to easily estimate the size and position of a tumor. - Mr. G.Leela Prasad, Mr. D.Vignesh, Mr.K.Hariharan, Mr. K.Vinay Kumar 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P152
Abstract
The main objective of the study is to review the various factors that play a role in increasing the desalinated water prices up and to find an alternative solution for it. Here the heat exchanger uses nano fluid as exchanging material and solar thermal power is used. Hence we are about to see whether these changes are efficient in bringing down the cost. The present study introduces an attempt for the application of flash desalination technique for small scale needs. An integrated system uses a flashing desalination technique coupled with nano-fluid-based solar collector as a heat source has been made to investigate both the effect of different operating modes and that of the variation of functioning parameters and weather conditions on the fresh water production. The thermal properties of working fluid in the solar collector have been improved by using different concentrated nano-particles. The volume fractions of nano-particle in solar collector working fluid have a significant impact on increasing the fresh water production and decreasing cost. * The solar thermal power is used as a heating source to bring the water to a temperature in which it produces steam. * This might be an alternative energy source for the existing conventional type of desalination. * The difference with this research is that the heat exchanger fluid used here contains Cuo nano particles which makes it to be a CuO nano fluid, thus enhancing the heat transfer. - Basanta Kumar Padhi, Dr. Nilamadhab Mishra, Dr.Sabyasachi Patnaik 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P153
Abstract
A Wireless Network can be the best technological solution that consists of numerous unattended, resource-constrained, and low power battery nodes, which are of two types: mobile node, and mobile gateway or base station (BS). The mobile node has the basic capabilities of signal sensing, processing, and communicating. The objective of the proposed work is to investigate and explore the routing problems as raised in wireless ad hoc network scenarios with respect to the random structural configurations. We discuss an outline structure of mobile adhoc network, where the mobile nodes formulate the adhoc structure for the purpose of data communication. In this work, we formulate an adhoc network scenario through Destination-Sequenced Distance-Vector routing (DSDV) protocol in order to analyze the data communication competence through different network parameters. Further, we analyze and compare the packet reception rate and packet reception statistics in both AODV and DSDV Manet structure and find that DSDV has the better packet reception rate as compared to AODV in a randomly configured mobile adhoc environment. Alternatively, DSDV have a dramatic decrease in performance when mobility is high, but in restricted mobility matter DSDV has better performance as compared to AODV. - Bade Ankamma Rao, Nutalapati Sai Priya 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P158
Abstract
To shield password clients from making straightforward and normal passwords, real sites and applications give a password-quality measure, in particular a password checker. While basic prerequisites for a password checker to be stringent have won in the investigation of password security, we demonstrate that respect less of the stringency, such static checkers can spill data and really enable the enemy to improve the execution of their attacks. To address this shortcoming, we propose and devise the Dynamic Password Policy Generator, to be specific DPPG, to be a compelling and usable other option to the current password quality checker. DPPG means to uphold an equally distributed password space and produce dynamic strategies for clients to make passwords that are different and that add to the general security of the password database. Since DPPG is secluded and can work with various fundamental metrics for policy age, we additionally present an assorted variety based password security metric that assesses the security of a password database as far as password space and dissemination. The metric is utilized as a countermeasure to very much created disconnected splitting calculations and hypothetically shows why DPPG functions admirably. The Unipolar-Bipolar Composite Transistor (UBCT) circuit is designed to combine the advantages of high input resistance of unipolar transistor and transfer curve linearity of bipolar transistor. The Composite Circuit has been designed with n-channel JFET, npn BJT and a pair of resistors, therefore this type of JFET-BJT composite transistor is classified as UBCT. This UBCT circuit exhibits enhanced static and dynamic performances as compared to that of JFET. In the present correspondence, the performances of the variants of the UBCT amplifier circuit have been experimentally analysed on the basis of power dissipation level and the corresponding voltage gain of the amplifier. Study and Parameter Optimization of Dissimilar Materials using Mig Welding Process
- K. Nageswara Rao, B.V.R.Ravi Kumar , M.T.Naik 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P162
Abstract
Welding input parameters play a very significant role in determining the quality of a weld joint. The quality of the joint can be defined in terms of mechanical properties, distortion and weld-bead geometry. Generally, all welding processes are employed with the aim of obtaining a welded joint with the desired characteristics. However efficient welding of dissimilar metals has posed a major challenge due to difference in thermal, mechanical and chemical properties of the materials to be joined under a common welding condition. This causes a steep gradient of the mechanical properties along the weld. A variety of problems come up in dissimilar welding like cracking, large weld residual stresses, migration of atoms during welding causing stress concentration on one side of the weld, compressive and tensile stresses, stress corrosion cracking, etc. To overcome this causes there are required to study the effect of welding process parameter on mechanical property. The aim of this research is to predict and optimize MIG welding of some economically important dissimilar materials in industry through applying a full factorial design as a DOE approach to design the experiments, develop mathematical models and optimize the welding operation.
