- P.Vasantha Kumar, S.V.Naveen Kumar, P.Saravana Kumar, S.Subash, M.Sivaraja 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P92
Abstract
Now a days the water are wasting in many ways flood, sewage mixture, evaporation etc., so we are planned to reduced evaporation losses in natural water bodies by using the shades balls method. This project was first done in California, Los Angels by the Department of Water and Power (LADWP) in the year 2011 and their aim to prevent the formation of harmful organisms, algae and carcinogens by blocking U-V rays and main aim to prevent the evaporation. Our project is same with some changes in Cost & Reuse the waste. our balls are 4inch black& our materials are high density polyethylene ,Carbon black were used. our balls prevented the formation of bromide to avoid the stomach problems. HDPE plastic are commonly used for food and beverage containers as well as water distribution pipes. HDPE is cheap material but carbon black is costly material so we use waste tyres. It has 15 % precent carbon black. The test are (Temperature, Melting,Pressure ,water Evaporation). They floated on Top of a reservoir. Next to Thermo coal the shade balls reduce 45% evaporation in reservoir. This project is Economical low but more quality. Shade balls are Eco-friendly for Environment& for Humans. It is economical low and this used in lakes, ponds stream and dams. We used this method located at Namakkal district in the Nehru pond. - Deepak Bohra, M.K.Bhaskar, Digvijay Sarvate, Pragya Srivastava, Khusbhu Ojha 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P94
Abstract
This paper presents the analysis of pitch angle variation in Asynchronous generator wind turbine. The asynchronous generator wind turbine model consists of wind turbine profiles which attribute to the mechanical power and torque characteristics of wind turbine. The simulation model for Asynchronous generator wind turbine has been developed using a MATLAB/SIMULIK. The Asynchronous generator wind turbine model can work as induction generator. The wind turbine simulation model can display generated power and their values changes according to the wind velocity. The torque from the wind turbine simulator can be used to drive the asynchronous generator to generate the power fed into the load. The asynchronous generator wind turbine was tested upon step changes in the wind velocity as well as the blade pitch angle requirement of for power control. Simulation results obtained are encouraging. Internet in Education System: A Review
- Dr.Neetu Dabas 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P95
Abstract
In this paper we will discuss uses of internet in education system and its drawbacks. Not long ago, some ten years or even less, we did not know much about the modern Internet; we could not imagine its facilities and our life with it. The Internet swiftly entered the life of the humankind in the 20th century. It took us less than ten years to face the reality of its spreading all over the world, including the developing countries. It has become not only the hugest information resource in the world, but – what is even more important – the most rapid means of communication. The Internet is a container with enormous information at hand, available so quickly and cheap that we never had before. With all these advantages at our disposal we have also faced its disadvantages which will be discussed in this paper along with the conclusion which summarizes the points discussed while incorporating the contents of this paper. - R.Angeline, Kavithvajen.K, Toshita Balaji, Venugopal Balaji, Malavika Saji 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P96
Abstract
The human face is a unique feature and thus it can used in the case of student’s attendance. This project is aimed at implementing an automated attendance system. The proposed system framework utilises face detection and recognition techniques. The algorithms implemented are Haar’s Cascades and LBPH. The system identifies the correct students and their participation in the class with the help of a camera that records the class and a computer that analyses the feed it receives from the camera. The attendance records are stored in a database maintained by the developers and accessible to the management of the institution. - Tirthankar Mukherjee, Mehabub Rahaman 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P97
Abstract
Waste tea leaves were used as a source of Activated Carbon (AC) which was chemical activated using Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH). SEM and XRD was carried out for the characterization of AC. L16 Taguchi method was implemented to determine the optimum parameters values required for removal of methylene blue (MB).The optimum conditions obtained from Taguchi for a 97.30% removal MB on AC from spent tea leaves is Adsorbent Dosage of 650mg/L, Initial dye conc. 2.71ppm, time 30 min. and temperature at 30°C. - Joshita Goyal, Shilpa Sharma 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P98
Abstract
With the growth of voluminous amount of data in educational institutes’, the need is to mine the large dataset to produce some useful information out of it. In this research we focused on to form a decision support system for the educational institutes’ which can help them to know about the placement possibility of students. Our research is not limited to find out placement possibility but we did multi-level analysis on student performance dataset which will predict that what level of interview process a student is likely to pass. For this we have applied Naïve Bayes and Improved Naïve Bayes which is integrated with relief feature selection technique to obtain the prediction. Data analysis was done using NetBeans and WEKA. For this our proposed technique gave better accuracy than existing naïve Bayes which was 84.7% and naïve Bayes gave 80.96% accuracy. Level-Set Algorithm Based System for Segmentation of Medical Images
- Dr. Fahimuddin Shaik, U.Jagadeeswar, M. Ravi kishore 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P99
Abstract
Segmentation means dividing an image into connected regions. It is the basic procedure to enhance the image. This process accommodate to identify and envisage objects in an image. In medical imaging, this algorithm is useful to elevate organ, cells or structures in the body. But there are many difficulties occurred in the segmentation process, they may be noise, variation of contrast, motion blurring artifacts. There are many segmentation methods have been proposed from the past years, but we used in this paper the segmentation algorithm based on level-set.The application in this work is to assess the performance of the six level-set algorithms on a given MRI image of Brain segmentation in 2D. The initialization implemented in this process is common for all the algorithms and the reference contour chosen for the computation of Dice criterion. MATLAB tool based application is used to evaluate the performance of various level-set algorithms in the segmentation of an image particularly on medical images. Classical methods such as Chan & Vese and Shi algorithms only evolve on their narrow band and are region based. We propose the recent methods such as Li and Lankton algorithms which are localized region based. Analyse and compare various level set algorithms on medical images in terms of Dice criterion, computational time , PSNR, Hausdorff distance and the mean sum of squared distance(MSSD). - V. Ramanjulu, D.Raja Reddy 10.29126/23951303/IJET-V4I2P100
Abstract
Recently, a fact that supports where two things generated changed is disordered. Secure E-web based marketing design resolves and connections the module of network login where customers can sign in by building up their client to client communication creates, for example, Facebook or Twitter. Customer can post their as of getting on established effects on reduced scale blog which includes post regular here and now messages about several activities with connection to the E-marketing sites. The disadvantage in this is the structure can't make the usual information which was site lost before. In this paper we propose a different response for cross-website page held make point offer which proposes to set things from automatic web based marketing sites to clients at long collection easy connection ends in sites, a creation which has casually been considered once. We proposed to size active the client who have long range simple system accounts and have limited feedings on Web Marketing sites as a interval to design's social communication features to another module description for section application. Specifically, we propose taking in the multi customers' and modules. Keyword: - - - .× V.
