Abstract
Biodiesel is a low-emissions diesel substitute fuel made from renewable resources like vegetable oils. India is not self-sufficient in petroleum and has to import about two third of its requirements to introduce one of the solutions to the current oil crisis and toward off any future energy and economic crunch is to explore the feasibility of substitution of diesel with an alternative fuel which can be produced in the country on a massive scale to commercial utilization. B20 (20% of biodiesel blended with 80% of conventional diesel) is a very popular biodiesel blend that can be used directly in diesel engines without any major engine modification. Biodiesel blends, in general, reduce the brake thermal efficiency slightly and lower PM, HC, COx emissions as compared to conventional diesel fuel.the fuel consumption and the emission characteristic of a twin cylinder diesel engine that are using Mango seed oil blended with Ethanol & compared to usage of ordinary diesel that are available in the market. This paper describes the setups and the procedures for the experiment which is to analyse the emission characteristics and fuel consumption of diesel engine due to usage of the both fuels.Diesel engine is able to run with Mango seed oil blended with Ethanol but the engine needs to run by using diesel fuel first, then followed by Ethanol and finished with diesel fuel as the last fuel usage before the engine turned off. The performance of the engine using Mango seed oil blended with ethanol as fuel compared to the performance of engine with diesel fuel. A Review of Optimization Techniques Implementation in Production Industries

Abstract
Implementation of lean is necessary for high-value manufacturing and is complementary to strategic decision making regarding manufacture. However lean can be difficult to implement in specific organizations. One of the difficulties is deciding which of the many lean tools to apply and when to apply them. A complicating factor is change management. Lean implementation is a transformational process and needs to support organizational development alongside process improvement. We develop a method based on risk management to identify which lean tools are most appropriate for a specific organizational setting. This permits the situational and contingency variables to be accommodated in the lean transformation. The method is demonstrated by application to a small manufacturing organization with a high-variety low-volume business model. The unreasonable facility layout of a production line directly or indirectly leads to low production efficiency is ver y common in Chinese manufacturing workshops, facility lean layout system of a production line is researched and designed. By analyzing the influencing factors of the facility layout system, optimization objectives and constraint conditions of facility layout system are summarized. A function model and a design structure model of the studied lean facility layout system are built. Based on the in-depth analyses of the mathematical model designed to denote the layout optimization design of a production line, a prototype lean facility layout system of a production line is developed. The Role of Mobile Network-Apps Security Using Network Techniques

Abstract
Now-a-days, Apps based on Mobile Network Technology that are known as Mobile network Apps are very popular among all kinds of users. But, sufficient knowledge of users about the Apps is questionable. Many users don’t know which application is useful for their smart phone and which is not and which apps exploit their ignorance etc. Exploiting the unawareness / ignorance of users, some fraudulent activities happened through mobile applications. In this situation, App designers use shady means, such as raise the App values or App ratings to commit fraud. For instance, Apple took action against App designers, who submitted misrepresentation in the Apple’s App Store. App developers resolve to some fake ranks and comments to intentionally help their Apps for ranking on an App store. In this thesis, we propose that these fraudulent activities can be identified, controlled and conquered by an innovative method with the investigation of three types of evidences, i.e., ranking based evidences, rating based evidences, review based evidences and their historical records. These three types of evidences are used to create Evidence Aggregation Certificate. We evaluate the proposed system with real world App data collected from the iOS App store over a span of time. In this experiment, we validate the effectiveness of the proposed system and show the scalability of the detection algorithm as well as some regularity of ranking fraud activities. Abstract
Abrasion wear is one of the most common failure mechanisms of moving machine elements. Because of their mechanical and tribological ability, engineering polymer composites can be chosen to replace metal parts in certain applications (e.g. bearings). Increasingly newer polymer composites are appearing and data on their tribological behaviors are incomplete, it is not so easy to choose from this wide wide selection of choices (mechanical properties, price, etc.). In the present study two groups of polymer composites In many fields of industry, abrasion and erosion processes are dominant wear mechanisms that reduce lifetime of costly machine parts. Wear resistance against abrasion and/or impact or the ability to withstand other complex mechanical actions are often required. In order to quantify the specific properties of material that are applied in such fields, several test methods are in use. A certain discrepancy can be seen between the systems approach and the aim to get information about suitability of materials for practical applications simply from specific material tests. This paper gives an overview over a selection of relevant test equipment and procedures. In addition, some examples are given for advanced studies on materials behavior combining tribological test, material analyses respectively materialography and mathematical methods in order to support – for selected cases. Embedded systems control many devices in common use today. Modern embedded systems are often based on microcontrollers (i.e. CPUs with integrated memory and/or peripheral interfaces) but ordinary microprocessors (using external chips for memory and peripheral interface circuits) are also still common, especially in more complex systems. In either case, the processor(s) used may be types ranging from rather general purpose to very specialized in certain class of computations, or even custom designed for the application at hand. A common standard class of dedicated processors is the digital signal processor (DSP). We introduce the Smart receptacle framework that recognizes totality of wastage canister. The framework is intended to gather information and to convey the information through remote work arrange. Wettability assessment of Zirconium oxide by Radio Frequency Magnetron sputtering

Abstract
The aim of this study is to identify the formation of zirconium oxide films by reactive sputtering of chromium target using oxygen and nitrogen as reactive gases along with helium that was used as an inert gas. Zirconium oxide thin films were deposited on glass and silicon substrates by using RF magnetron sputtering process and influence of working pressure was investigated. The structural properties of thin film were characterized by using X-ray diffractometer (XRD). Surface energy and contact angle were explored by using contact angle measuring system. Surface energy and contact angle of thin films increased with increasing pressure from 1.5 to 4.5 Pa and revealed transformation from hydrophilic to hydrophobic behavior of zirconium oxide thin films. Monitoring and Protection of Distribution Transformer Using GSM Module

Abstract
The aim of the project is to design a monitoring and protection system for distribution transformer with the help of GSM and GPS technology. The present monitoring system requires manpower which is time-consuming and it is difficult to predict the occurrence of faults. In this project, we designed a system which continuously monitors the transformer parameters such as load current, voltage, oil level and ambient temperature with the help of sensors. These values are displayed continuously on the LCD display and it is recorded in the system memory. If any abnormalities occur in the transformer then an alert message with the parameter values are sent to the monitoring centre along with the location by means of GSM and GPS which are integrated with the Arduino board. This system will help the transformer to operate smoothly and identify problems before any catastrophic failure.
