An Investigation on Basic Concepts of Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm for VLSI Design

Abstract
Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm is an evolutionary algorithm that has been applied to many different engineering and technological problems with considerable success. Since its first publication is in 1995, it has been continually modified trying to improve its convergence properties. Thus, many variants have been proposed in the literature. Some of these variants were related to a particular problem and had little application outside the field where they have been proposed. These PSO variants have been used to solve a wide range of optimization and inverse problems: continuous, discrete, dynamical, multioptimal, and combinatorial, with and without additional constraints. This paper insisting the importance of the stochastic stability analysis of the particle trajectories in order to achieve convergence and an algorithm for classical particle swarm optimization (PSO) is discussed. Also, it codes in MATLAB environment is included. Implementation of Wireless Sensor Network and IOT for Real Time Forest Fire Warning System

Abstract
Forest are the basis for sustaining the ecosystem and helps cleanse the environment and provides shelter food for life dependent on it. Humans owe a great responsibility in preserving the remaining forests and take preventive steps towards the destruction of forest. One of the major cause for forest destruction are forest fires. So this project deals with the development of an intelligent real time and automatic early warning system for forest fire. It enables remote monitoring of conditions inside the forest regions and creates an alert when an forest fire is detected by unique mail and sms, the sensor data are constantly monitored along with a gps location for each sensor node which are connected together by Zigbee modules capable of long range transmission, the simple battery monitoring system allows constant monitoring of power usage of the entire setup. On the whole this prototype model when implemented will be a cost effective way for preventing forest fires. Security System Based on Knock-Pattern Using Arduino and GSM Communication

Abstract
With the constant progress in the technological world, concerns for safety also increase day by day. Protection like keys can be replicated quite easily. So, here is a smart security system with the use of 'Arduino' microcontroller, Piezo Electric and GSM Module. Here, the security system is based on a "secret knocking pattern" which can be installed to a ‘safe’ or any other similar object which needs protection. The lock unlocks only when a certain secret knocking pattern is implemented and an SMS alert is sent if anyone tries to sneak into contents by knocking differently. This concept eliminates the fear of replication as there is no physical Unlocking Object to start with. Thus, the smart ‘Knock Based Security System’ can be an added protection in our everyday lives. Arduino Uno board which act as a microcontroller unit. The Piezo sensor takes the knocking input and then passes it to the Arduino board where the input pattern is compared with the original Secret pattern. In case of wring pattern, the GSM sends an alert to the given Phone Number. Abstract
Solid waste management has gained a lot of attention to the research community now-a- days. There are various solid wastes, but waste tires are non- biodegradable nature therefore, it create major problem in environment. Discarded vehicle tires are the type of solid waste which is generally disposed by landfills method. But now a day’s disposal of whole or shredded tires by land filling technique is ban by EU policies. An emerging use is the production of concrete, in which tire rubber particles partially or fully replace natural aggregates. This has the additional advantage of saving in natural constituent which is used in the production of concrete. This project study the experimental behavior of physical and mechanical properties of rubberized concrete The influence of factors such as rubber aggregate content and size, as well as curing time was also considered. There is M25 grade concrete use with fly ash. From this experimental study it is observed, that there great loss in strength, this type of concrete was acceptable for various architectural applications requiring medium to low compressive strength. Thus, the use of waste tire rubber for formation of concrete it is the best disposal method to protect the our environment. Abstract
Customer is the most important part of the business, the data taken is a record of the purchase transactions of products purchased in each transaction. With the existence of data mining expected hidden and unknown pattern can be utilized in customer purchasing pattern. Then apriori algorithm as the basis of which there are methods of association rules and CRISP-DM in this system can determine thats the most products of interest by customers by applying data mining system on each transaction data. Result of data mining processing to determine sales trend towards a sales product where with this sales trend management team can analyze by disclosing which product sales follow steep growth path and which stall or decrease. An example of data mining to determine the sales trend pattern based on a combination of 2 products. Where it has been determined is Threshold Support = 0.1 and Threshold Support x Confidence = 0.05 and for the quantity forecast of 23 products into the sample and who managed to enter into quantity forecast only 13 products. Where the successful product is determined quantity forecast only that has a support value above the threshold support value that has been determined by the authors in this paper. Result of the quantity forecast of the input specified such as Threshold Support: 0.2, Threshold SupportxConfidence: 0.1 and Percent Forcast: 0.15. Performance of Micro Strip Patch Antenna for Dual Band Application

Abstract
This research work presents analysis of dual band rectangular micro strip patch antenna for WLAN application. An antenna is design using FR-4epoxy substrate material with thickness 1.6 mm and dielectric constant 4.4. The proposed antenna has a compact size of 30 mm×30 mm and patch dimension 20 mm ×20 mm. The design antenna fed with coaxial feed technique. The simulated design antenna is operated at 5.4 GHz to 9.5 GHz, having resonating two different frequencies at 5.6GHz and 8.9GHz which is operated in C & X-bands. The rectangular Micro strip antenna have minimum return loss is -21.44 dB at 5.6GHz and -27.68dB at 8.9GHz. In this antenna the maximum gain is 5 dBi at 8.9GHz and 3.75dBi at 5.6GHz respectively are achieved. The simulation of the design antenna is done using Ansoft HFSS software. Abstract
With the processing of CMOS technology, the technology of video acquisition based on CMOS is becoming a new trend. However, many CMOS camera chip is not supported by the newest Linux kernel yet. The environmental image acquirement and the Bluetooth transmission system are studied and designed. In this paper, the method of designing the CMOS camera driver based on S3C2440 developing board with the embedded Linux environment is introduced and add some components such as a usb Bluetooth adapter. SCCB is a distinguishing feature of OV series CMOS chips. S3C2440 provides a camera interface, and the camera driver is designed based on it. The library and the utils are compiled, and of images got from CMOS camera to the Bluetooth mobile phone has been realized by means of programming.
