Design of a ISM Band Wearable Antenna for future Patient Monitoring systems

Abstract
This work aims to design an efficient and compact wearable antenna for future patient monitoring systems and telemedicine applications. The wearable radiating patch is built above a Jean cloth material and fed with suitable SMA connectors. Emphasis is given further to improve the performance parameters like Return Loss, Gain and radiation pattern of the antenna over the existing designs. It is observed that the Return Loss of the designed antenna is -46.29dB and the Gain hovers at about 7.13dB in the simulated meandered shape microstrip antenna. Abstract
The experimental studies for extraction of propionic acid using Tributyl Phosphate (TBP) in nontoxic diluent (modified soyabean oil) from aqueous solution have been described here. The extraction equilibrium studies for propionic acid are carried out to find the optimum time of shaking, the effect of temperature and the extraction efficiency (%E). The experimental studies show that extractant (TBP) and diluent influences the extraction of propionic acid. The effect of percentage of TBP in diluent on extraction efficiency has been investigated. In present practice the fuel steam ratio is 1:2.2 so heat recovery is important in sugar industries to achieve the same amount of steam by feeding the less amount of fuel (bagasse) and it is possible by adopting the direct exhaust condensate method to deaerator tank by eliminating the feed water tank in sugar industries to avoid the vapour losses in feed water tank as a result good temperature of water is supplied to the boiler from deaerator tank that is above the boiling point temperature by doing so we can save the some amount fuel (bagasse). Abstract
From past earthquakes it is proved that many of structure are totally or partially damaged due to earthquake. So, it is necessary to determine seismic responses of such buildings. There are different techniques of analysis of structure. This paper is concerned with the effects of various Mass and column stiffness Irregularity on the seismic response of a structure. The objective of the project is to carry out Response spectrum analysis (RSA) of vertically Mass and column stiffness Irregular RC building frames. Comparison of the results of analysis of irregular structures with regular structure will be done. Comparision of mass irregular buildings having different column stiffness will also be done. The scope of the project also includes the evaluation of response of structures for axial force, base shear, time period, bending moments, storey drift and storey displacement. Abstract
In day to day life, it is needed to study the behaviour of every multi-storied building structure subjected to ground motion which is the common problem for construction. The earthquake creates the vibrating forces at the base of structure. These vibrations create the oscillations in building which may damage the structure tremendously. These vibrations created at the ground level gets transferred up to the top of building and because of mass of structure which produces the lateral forces on the frame which finally reduces the moment resistance capacity of building parameters such as columns beams etc. Paper gives the idea about different researches carried out on multi-storeyed building considering various parameters. This study describes the results of a study on the seismic behaviour of a structure (G+20) with and without damper with soft storey. The result from a previous experiment expressed that with the use of dampers, the stiffness and strength of the structure increase considerably. Abstract
The experiment demonstrates the use of fin analysis as one of the possible ways for determination of thermal conductivity of material by using fins. In the experiment the thermal conductivity of unknown material is determined by referring to the standard material of known thermal conductivity. In the experimental set-up, a suitably designed heater coil is used as a heat source. An Aluminium rod is used as reference material and the provision is made in the setup to attach a test rod of which thermal conductivity is to be determined. A Multipole Digital Temperature indicator with seven PT-100 thermocouples are used to measure the temperatures. The geometries of the test and reference rods are mandatory to be exactly same for analysi.
