M-Privacy for Collaborative Data Publishing By Using Heuristic Approach - Ms. Sheetal D. Shahare , Mr.Sachin Barahate
Abstract
According to the survey Maintaining and preserving privacy has become more significant problem. We consider the collaborative data publishing problem for anonymizing horizontally partitioned data at multiple data providers. We consider a new type of “insider attack” by colluding data providers who may use their own data records (a subset of the overall data) to infer the data records contributed by other data providers. For M-privacy several anonymization techniques have been used such as bucketization, generalization, perturbation which does not prevent privacy and fail to maintain a privacy constraint and results in loss of information. So we consider the collaborative data publishing for anonymizing horizontally partitioned data at multiple data provider. First, we provide the notion of m-privacy, which give guarantees that the anonymized data satisfies a given privacy constraint against any intruder attack. Then we present heuristic algorithms with effective pruning strategies and adaptive ordering techniques for efficiently checking m-privacy for a set of records i.e to breach the privacy. Here intruder are also detected which try to breach the privacy. This technique shows the better utility and efficiency than the previous techniques. We develop a truthful and efficient M-privacy for collaborative data publishing by using pruning strategy and providing them anonymized data in case of emergency. Partial Replacement of Coarse Aggregate in Concrete by Waste Rubber Tire - A.Chandran
Abstract
Throughout the world, the disposal of used tires is a major environmental problem causing environmental hazards such as breeding ground for mosquitoes, producing uncontrolled fire and they are contaminating the soil and vegetation. Therefore, there is an urgent need to identify alternative outlets for these tires, with the emphasis on recycling the waste tire. Concrete is an excellent structural material and considered as essential for the modern civilization and human society. Now, the use of waste tires in concrete has become technically feasible and the concrete is being considered as light weight concrete. This study reviews the feasibility of using waste tires in the form of chips with different sizes in concrete to improve the strength as well as protecting the environment. In this study, we outline the use of rubberized concrete in structural and non-structural members and show how it is suitable for the concrete, its uses, barriers and benefits to future study. Optimal Placement and Sizing of DG using IPSO and GHS Algorithms by considering Technical and Economic Impacts of DG on Distribution System - Gunupuru Tulasi , Prema Kumar Navuri
Abstract
Increasing demand on conventional distribution system emerges the distributed energy sources to place near the consumer premises to maintain the reliability of supply. DG also includes the benefits of reduced power loss, improved voltage profile and also reduced transmission and distribution costs. Placement of DG sources have some impact on existing distribution system. The impacts may be technical, economical or environmental. In this paper we have introduced technical and economic benefits of DG. Planning of DG size and location is necessary to obtain the satisfactory performance. In this paper improved particle swarm optimization(IPSO) and global harmony search(GHS) algorithms are used to minimize the objective function. In these methods of optimization, DGs are randomly placed at each bus and size is obtained. Then these results are compared with previous results and optimal location and sizes corresponding to optimal location are obtained. Here, objective function is the function of impact indices on distribution system due to placement of DG . Forward-backward sweep method is considered for studying the load flow of radial distribution system over various techniques available. Automatic Image Annotation Using Modified Multi-label Dictionary Learning - Sreedhanya.S , Chhaya.S.Pawar
Abstract
Automatic image annotation has attracted lots of research interest, and effective method for image annotation. Find effectively the correlation among labels and images is a critical task for multi-label learning. Most of the existing multi-label learning methods exploit the label correlation only in the output label space, leaving the connection between label and features of images untouched. In image annotation, a semi supervised learning which incorporates a large amount of unlabeled data along with a small amount of labelled data, is regarded as an effective tool to reduce the burden of manual annotation. But some unlabeled data in semi-supervised models contain distance that negatively affects the training stage. Outliers in the method can be over-fitting problem especially when a small amount of training data is used. In this paper, proposing an automatic image annotation method called modified MLDL with hierarchical sparse coding for solving these problems. This method prevents the over-fitting associated with the semi-supervised based approach by using sparse representation to maximizing the correlation between the data. Apply a Tree Conditional Random Field to construct the Hierarchical structure of an image. The result will be multi-label set prediction of a query image and semantic retrieval of images. Experiment results using LabelMe datasets and Caltech datasets confirms the effectiveness of this method. Concrete Beam With and Without Openings Using Sisal Fiber - S.Sam Sundar , Mrs.S.Mercy , S.Shiva Priya
Abstract
The purpose of this experimental study is to know the behaviour of beam when openings such as pipe holes are made at the compression zone of the RC beam. The pipe hole are made as a passage for electrical wires, water pipeline etc., This can be generally adopted for multi-storey buildings. Usually while providing the openings in the beams, the distance at which the openings to be provided are not considered, at that point that failure loads increases. In this study, the required size and position of openings are considered to reduce the failure of the beam. This study deals with the behaviour and ultimate strength of sisal fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) deep beams with and without openings in web subjected to two- point loading, four concrete deep beams of dimensions 1500mm×300mm×150mm thickness were tested to destruction by applying gradually increased load. Simply supported conditions were maintained for all the concrete deep beams. The percentage of sisal fiber was varied from 0 to 2.The influence of fiber content in the concrete deep beams has been studied by measuring the deflection of the deep beams and by observing the crack patterns. Abstract
Multilevel Inverter has gained popularity in high power and voltage applications such as electrical power transmission and grid integration of renewable energy source. Multilevel inverter is designed to achieve higher voltage level with low harmonics and without requiring higher ratings of individual devices. In this paper, three modulation strategies based on a Multicarrier level shifted PWM and third harmonic Injected reference has been implemented; the aim of this paper is to compare these three strategies to know their effect on the output voltage quality of the inverter. The three modulation strategies are: Third Harmonic Injected reference In Phase Disposition (THI-IPD), Third Harmonic Injected reference Alternative Phase Opposition Disposition (THI-APOD) and Third Harmonic Injected reference Phase Opposition Disposition (THI-POD). These three strategies are applied to 9-levels diode clamped Multilevel inverter under different operation conditions and different Modulation schemes. The study has been implemented via simulation using MATLAB/Simulink. Speech Enhancement by using Ideal Binary Mask - Priyanka V. Patil ,Vikram. A. Mane
Abstract
Communication via speech is one of the essential functions of human beings. Humans possess varied ways to retrieve information from the outside world or to communicate with each other. Three most important sources of information are speech, images and written text. For many purposes, speech is more efficient and convenient way. Speech not only conveys linguistic contents, but also communicates other useful information like the mood of the speaker. In speech communication systems the quality and intelligibility of speech is most important for easy and accurate exchange of information. In realistic listening situations, speech is often contaminated by various types of background noise. The presence of background noise degrades the quality as well as intelligibility of speech. This degradation of speech by noise creates problems not only for just interpersonal communication but more serious problems in applications in which decision or control is made on the basis of speech signal. So, there is need to develop a new method for speech enhancement which will improve quality as well as intelligibility of the speech. This paper presents method of speech enhancement by using Ideal Binary Mask. This is a simple method for enhancing the speech with the objective to eliminate the additive noise present in speechsignal and restore the speech signal to its original form with improved quality as well as intelligibility of speech.
