DC Motor Speed Control Using Microcontroller
- Sarita S Umadi, Dinesh Patil
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to control the speed of DC motor. The main advantage in using a DC motor is that the Speed-Torque relationship can be varied to almost any useful form. To achieve the speed control an electronic technique called Pulse Width Modulation is used which generates High and Low pulses. These pulses vary the speed in the motor. For the generation of these pulses a microcontroller (AT89c51) is used. As a microcontroller is used to set the speed ranges which is done by changing the duty cycles time period in the program. This is practical and highly feasible in economic point of view, and has an advantage of running motors of higher ratings. This paper gives a reliable, durable, accurate and efficient way of speed control of a DC motor. Design of Area, Power and Delay Efficient High-Speed Multipliers
- Namrata Dangat ,Dr.V.C.Kotak ,Prof. Sushma Srivastava
Abstract
Multiplication is the most time consuming process in various signal processing operations like convolution, circular convolution, auto-correlation and cross-correlation. With advances in technology, many researchers have tried and are trying to design multipliers which offer either of the following- high speed, low power consumption, regularity of layout and hence less area or even combination of them in multiplier. However area and speed are two conflicting constraints. So improving speed results always in larger areas. So here we try to find out the best trade off solution among the both of them. To have features like high speed and low power consumption multipliers several algorithms have been introduced .In this paper, we describes Multipliers by using various algorithm in VLSI technology. The Wallace Tree Multipliers are compared with existing multipliers in terms of improvement in features like area, delay and power consumption by using different logical operation. Theoretical Studies on Corrosion Inhibition Effect of Coumarin and its Derivatives against Metals using Computational Methods
- V. Kavitha, Dr. N. Gunavathy
Abstract
Quantum chemical calculations were performed on Coumarin and its derivatives to determine corrosion inhibition properties using Parameterized Model7 (PM7). EHOMO (highest occupied molecular orbital energy), ELUMO (lowest unoccupied molecular orbital energy), energy gap (?E), dipole moment () and other parameters including global hardness (?), global softness (S), absolute electro negativity (?), and electrophilicity index (?) from inhibitor molecule to the metallic atom were determined. Results illustrate that adsorption of inhibitor onto metal surface would preferentially be through heteroatoms of molecules. Theoretical calculations on compounds show that Scopoletin and Coumarin possess efficient corrosion inhibition property on metals. Content Based Image Retrieval Using Multi feature fusion Extraction
- Shrutayu M.Thakre, Prof. D.G.Gahane
Abstract
The development of multimedia system technology in Content based Image Retrieval (CBIR) System is one in every of the outstanding area to retrieve the images from an oversized collection of database. The feature vectors of the query image are compared with feature vectors of the database images to get matching images. It is much observed that anyone algorithm isn't beneficial in extracting all differing kinds of natural images. Thus an intensive analysis of certain color, texture and shape extraction techniques are allotted to spot an efficient CBIR technique that suits for a selected sort of images. The Extraction of an image includes feature description and feature extraction. During this paper, we tend to projected Color Layout Descriptor (CLD), grey Level Co-Occurrences Matrix (GLCM), Marker-Controlled Watershed Segmentation feature extraction technique that extract the matching image based on the similarity of Color, Texture and shape within the database. For performance analysis, the image retrieval timing results of the projected technique is calculated and compared with every of the individual feature. - Nitesh Kumar, Rishav Kumar, Amit Kumar ,Priya G
Abstract
Cloud computing is a sort of dispersed registering over the web i.e. it can run a venture or application on more than one PC meanwhile. It is isolated into three classes to be specific: (i) IaaS (ii) PaaS and (iii) SaaS Software as a service is a sort of administration which gives numerous advantages to the administration shoppers. A tweaked quality model is important to assess the nature of SaaS cloud services. The paper perceives the segments of SaaS. The ordinary model does not consider components of SaaS like security and nature of organization. Along these lines, in this paper, we come out with another model for the security, nature of services, and programming quality for programming as an administration. Also the results are used as recognizing verification for the SaaS quality organization. DTCWT Based EEG Biomarker Detection and Classification for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
- Brighty Licy Pious
Abstract
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) is the most common progressive neurodegenerative disorder reflecting the degeneration of upper and lower motor neurons. Motor neurons controls the communication between nervous system and muscles of the body. ALS results in the loss of voluntary control over muscular activities along with the inability to breathe and the maximum life expectancy of affected individual will be 3-5 years from the onset of symptoms. But the lifetime of affected people can be extended by early detection of disease. The usual methods for diagnosis are Electromyography (EMG), Nerve Conduction Study (NCS), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Magneto-encephalography (MEG). But some of these methods may erroneously result in neuropathy or myopathy instead of ALS and some do not provide any biomarker. EEG is comparatively least expensive method and it provides biomarker for ALS detection. ALS is always associated with fronto-temporal dementia (FTD). The spectral analysis of EEG will reveal the structural and functional connectivity alterations of the underlying neural network that occurs due to FTD and it can generate potential biomarkers for the early detection of ALS. A novel algorithm has been developed by exploiting the Dual Tree Complex Wavelet Transform (DTCWT) technique and it can overcome the short comes of existing methods for the analysis and feature extraction of EEG. Deterministic biomarkers were obtained from spectral analysis of EEG and the proposed algorithm provided 100% accuracy for all the test datasets.
