Detecting the Movements of a Target Using Polygon Tracking in Wireless Device Networks
- P.Bhanumathi. MSC, M.Phil., K.Sangeetha
Abstract
Target pursuit is one in all the key applications of wireless device networks (WSNs). Existing work largely needs organizing teams of device nodes with measurements of a targets movements or correct distance measurements from the nodes to the target, and predicting those movements. These are, however, typically tough to accurately accomplish in follow, particularly within the case of unpredictable environments, device faults, etc. during this paper, we have a tendency to propose a brand new pursuit framework, referred to as Face Track, that employs the nodes of a special region encompassing a target, referred to as a face. rather than predicting the target location singly in an exceedingly face, we have a tendency to estimate the targets moving toward another face. we have a tendency to introduce a foothold detection algorithmic rule to come up with every face more in such how that the nodes will prepare previous the targets moving, that greatly helps pursuit the target in an exceedingly timely fashion and convalescent from special cases, e.g., device fault, loss of pursuit. Also, we have a tendency to develop associate optimum choice algorithmic rule to pick that sensors of faces to question and to forward the pursuit information. Simulation results, compared with existing work, show that Face Track achieves higher pursuit accuracy and energy potency. - K.Namcharaiah, K. Somaiah chowdary, K.Balakrishna Reddy
Abstract
The present investigation deals with the static analysis of adhesively bonded inner tapered double lap joint in laminated FRP composites subjected to transverse loading using three-dimensional theory of elasticity based finite element method. Many researchers studied the influences of various parameters on the failure behaviour on the composites. In those studies, the typical bonding parameters are surface conditions, fillet, bond line thickness, and environmental conditions. In the present study the stresses and deformation characteristics of adhesively bonded inner tapered double lap joint made of generally and especially orthotropic laminates (FRP) subjected to transverse loading for the three different adhesive angles, three different adhesive thicknesses with different fibre angle orientations, i.e. the adhesive angles from 350 to 450 increased in steps of 50. The variation in stresses and deflection are studied when the fibre angle orientation is varied from 00 to 900 in steps of 150. The adhesive thickness varies from 0.05 to 0.15 insteps of 0.05mm. In all the above cases stresses and displacements at various locations are evaluated for the static boundary conditions. An Energy Efficient Multicasting Routing Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks
- Akshdeep Kaur, Jyoti Saxena, Ravneet Kaur
Abstract
Wireless sensor network consists of hundreds to thousands of nodes that communicate among themselves using radio signals and any node can leave or join the network when required. In Wireless sensor network no central controller is present. Sensor nodes deployed in the network are responsible for data routing in the network. Wireless sensor network is used to monitor the environmental conditions such as temperature, pressure, humidity, sound, noise etc. Wireless Sensor nodes have very small size and have limited resources. In far places, it is very difficult to recharge or replace the battery of the sensor nodes. In such conditions, focus is to reduce the battery consumption of the sensor nodes. In this work, a new technique is proposed to enable efficient battery consumption in a multicasting routing protocol. In this technique, the cluster heads are selected on the basis of dynamic clustering using neural network. Simulation results show that the proposed technique is more reliable, energy efficient and provide better results as compared to the existing technique. - Satyam Awasthi, Soumosir Dutta, Deepanshu Arora ,Prof.Manikandan K
Abstract
A Mobile Ad-hoc network is a set of mobile terminals moving in different directions at different speed being wirelessly connected to each-other. In this paper we study the proactive Link State Routing Protocol OLSR, which uses hello and topology control (TC) messages to find then distribute link state data throughout the mobile ad hoc network. Individual nodes use this topology data to calculate next hop destinations for all nodes within the network using shortest hop forwarding paths. We then suggest ways by which the existing algorithm can be optimized in terms of delay, throughput, power consumption, jitter etc. Finally we summarize the applications of OLSR Keyword: -----. × Satyam Awasthi, Soumosir Dutta ,Deepanshu Arora , Prof. Manikandan K"A study on Optimized Link State Routing Protocol (OLSR),Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)" Vol. 2 - Issue 6 ( Nov - Dec 2016), International Journal of Engineering and Techniques (IJET) , ISSN: 2395 - 1303 , www.ijetjournal.org × |

Review of Effort Distribution in IT Companies
- Reetuparna Mukherjee, Taniya Gupta, Mythili Thirugnanam
Abstract
Effort distribution, be it by phase or activity, is an important aspect of SDLC. Yet it is often overlooked in the process of cost estimation. Poor effort allocation is one of the root causes of rework owing to early activities being insufficiently resourced. This paper presents various phase effort distribution patterns and variation sources. The analysis results of these patterns show some consistency in effects of size of software and team size on code and test phase distribution variations, and some considerable deviations in design, requirements, and transition phases, compared with recommendations in the COCOMO model. Software size, in turn, depends on the small-medium, medium-large companies having different schemes. Finally, the major findings of this paper discusses about threats to validity and presents general guidelines in directing effort distribution across the various software development methods, time duration of the phases of SDLC and the team strength. Based on the above factors, effort distribution can be estimated. A MMC Based Three-Phase Wind Energy Inverter (WEI) With Flexible AC Transmission System
- Nageswara Rao Challa, S Chandraprakash Rao S
Abstract
A Power quality problem is an occurrence of nonstandard voltage, current or frequency that results in a failure or a misoperation of end user equipments. Utility distribution networks, sensitive industrial loads and critical commercial operations suffer from various types of outages and service interruptions which can cost significant financial losses. With the increase in load demand, the Renewable Energy Sources (RES) are increasingly connected in the distribution systems which utilizes power electronic Converters/Inverters. This paper presents a single-stage, three-phase grid connected solar photovoltaic (SPV) system. The proposed system is dual purpose, as it not only feeds extracted solar energy into the grid but it also helps in improving power quality in the distribution system. The presented system serves the purpose of maximum power point tracking (MPPT), feeding SPV energy to the grid, harmonics mitigation of loads connected at point of common coupling (PCC) and balancing the grid currents. The SPV system uses a three-phase voltage source converter (VSC) for performing all these functions. An improved linear sinusoidal tracer (ILST)-based control algorithm is proposed for control of VSC. In the proposed system, a variable dc link voltage is used for MPPT. An instantaneous compensation technique is used incorporating changes in PV power for fast dynamic response. The SPV system is first simulated in MATLAB along with Simulink and simpower system toolboxes.
